We are united with all believers in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We are a Christian People. We are a People called to Holiness, and we are a People with a Mission. If you are hurt, drepressed, frustrated or confused, there is a place for you here! This is a place where you can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement. We are located at the corner of 4th and Church Streets in downtown Dayton, Oregon. Our cornerstone was was laid in 1859, the same year Oregon was admitted to the Union. While the church has been remodeled and upgraded over the years, its ties to our historic past can be seen in our beautiful stained-glass windows and heard in our weekly call to worship by our traditional steeple bell.
While we desire to honor our traditions, we are not tradition-bound. We are Christ-bound and we are always looking for better ways to serve Him! Our worship services are a blend of traditional hymns with the best of today's choruses and aligned with strong Biblical teaching that is firmly rooted in God's Holy Word.
