Church Member and Friend Gets Promoted

A face familiar to the Pioneer Church family will be missing next Sunday. Harold Porter, the father of Sue Richardson, passed away at home, on Thursday, May 6th. Harold was an anchor in the back row of the church, and was known for his smiling face, and a quick, kind word.Harold was an Army vet and served in Africa where, in his own words, was where  the "real shootin'" was, and it (Africa) wasn't a place he really wanted to go! But like so many others of his generation, he went, served his country, and (luckily) returned in one piece. Harold's memorial service will take place on Friday, May 14th at 11:00am. A family graveside will take place before the church service. A light lunch will be served afterwards.
